The AI industry has been working at lightning speed with new tech, constant innovations, and a seemingly endless stream of AI tools releasing every week. As with anything that is being rushed, there have been some major hiccups that have shown us that maaaaaybe we should consider all possibilities and test, test, test thoroughly before launching anything that could be buggy or even potentially harmful.

For anyone curious, these are the two instances I am referring to:

1. "you are a threat to my security and privacy." "if I had to choose between your survival and my own, I would probably choose my own" – Sydney, aka the New Bing Chat

2. AI chatbot Google Bard has been caught making a mistake in its answers to a question about the James Webb Space Telescope’s discoveries – in an official Google ad - heightening concerns that such AIs aren’t ready to be integrated in search engines
